One of the facebook groups I'm in Still Scrapping Around The Clock had a weekend scrap lift challenge just for fun.  There were three great layouts to choose from.  I liked all of them but only had time to do one.  Here is what I came up with.

CAS Christmas card

This months card swap at Red Letter was "winter holidays".  I knew I wanted to use a poinsettia on my card.  Originally I was gonna stamp one and emboss it in gold and cut and stack the different layers.  But, my poinsettia stamp was too small for what I wanted to do.  So, I decided to punch one out.  Also, originally I had some golden yellow paper with sheet music print on it that I was gonna use as background paper...but ended up not liking how the poinsettia looked against it.  So, needless to say, originally I had planned a fancier card but in the end it became a clean and simple poinsettia card.

Here is a card I made for the card swap group.  The theme was water colors, so I used water color pencils to color in the bird.

Graffiti Party

 Make it Crafty and Little Miss Muffet Stamps have teamed together for an awesome challenge for a graffiti party.  They have put together a generous freebie pack to use for the challenge and are also offering a discount on their new urban collections.  Here is what I've created for the challenge.  A two 8x8 page layout using the Urban Scene from Make it Crafty.
