Leaf Pile

I love scraplift challenges!  It's always so neat to see everyone's different versions.  The Facebook group Yappin' and Scrappin' has a monthly scraplift challenge and this month I decided to participate.  Here is my version:

You can see the original and other versions here.

I'm not sure if I like my tree or not.....but it will have to do.

Little Miss Shira

Last month I won a digi image on the TSC Recipes Facebook page from the talented Tamara van Wijk.  Here is what I created with the image.  My doily needs to be turned a bit so that the bling isn't right up against the picture.  But the adhesive I used for the flowers was super, super, super sticky and by the time I realized my doily needed turned it was too late.  I couldn't get it all to pry up.

Cowboy Cutie

The last time we went to Tennessee I let Avery wear his cowboy hat and boots.  He looked so cute all dressed up like a little cowboy!

The digi stamp I used can be found here.

This Is Your Pilot Speaking

Last year we took Avery on his very first plane ride.  When we boarded the plane the pilot asked if I had my camera handy.  Then he let Avery sit in the pilot's seat for pictures.  It was such an awesome way to remember his first plane ride.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's, especially my wonderful husband, Mike.  Thank you for being such an amazing father to our son, Avery.  And to my Daddy, I love you and miss you.

Always Be You-nique

If you saw my last post....this is the finished layout.  Even though I had layed everything out before I started gluing things down I still kinda messed up.  I slid the hexagons off the paper before gluing and somehow ended up gluing them in rows of 4-3-2 instead of 4-2-2-1and so I had an empty spot at the bottom.  I punched out another hexagon but didn't like the countdown of 4-3-2-1 so I punched out another.  I liked having a variety of same color scheme papers...but now it feels like too many different patterns to me.  But I had already glued down so it was too late to repeat papers.  But, all in all, I still like it.
