My desk is a bit of a mess right now. I'm in the middle of a project and working on the flowers for it at the moment. The letters on the layout are kinda wonky cause they aren't glued down at the moment. I usually like to lay things out and see how it looks before I start gluing. But, this is my desk...I hope you enjoyed your peek at it. You can peek at other peoples desks over at
Stamping Ground.
Your space isn't that bad and your Layout looks like it's coming along nicely :)

The layout will be gorgeous with all those lovely flowers! Great space, I believe. Helen
ReplyDeleteThis is the beginning of a lovely layout. I'm like you. If I forget to lay my project out, I get into trouble and end up making a mess of things. Your flowers are simply beautiful, too. Happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting me.
ReplyDeleteA lovely creative desk & lovely lo's , happy woyww Jill
ReplyDeleteHello to the other Kyla!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to layout the page first I never remember and just start gluing things down and then have to try and pick them off before they dry!
Kyla
I like the colours you're using...the grey and yellow are a great combo!
ReplyDeleteI saw the top of your previous post and had to smile cos I've got pics of my lad when he was three having a very similar party! He's now 21 and his birthday present was a Driving day in a proper Steam engine :-)

I love your layout!
ReplyDeleteIt's very sensible to lay things out first bfore sticking them down.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that your desk looks, well... tidy really but a bit more effort and it could be really untidy.
Happy crafting, Angela x @Felix the Crafty Cat #7
Hoe to see the finished project. Is it a graduation book? love the flowers. http://afocusedjourney.blogspot.com/2014/06/working-in-wee-hours-of-morning.html
ReplyDeleteNow that is a lovely LO and always a good idea to position before glueing.

Looking good to me! I totally create a layout, then go away for a long time and let it hit me anew to see if I still like it. Saves me peeling things off LOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd blimey - that desk is clean by anyone's standards! OK so not Julia-this-week clean perhaps but pretty darn good to my eyes :) And liking that colour combo of the flowers - very striking. Isn't yellow tricky? I am always looking for BUTTER and finding LEMON or SUNSHINE...
Happy no-Linky WOYWW! (except I checked again and there it is!)

That's going to be a great layout - love the colours. I reckon your desk is mega tidy (but then compared to mine, anything would be!!) Have a lovely week, Chris # 10
ReplyDeleteYours isn't messy compared to mine. lol I can't see the surface anywhere right now. Nice layout you're working on.
ReplyDeletegreat looking desk and that page is going to be awesome with the flowers! I haven't been able to post on Wednesdays for a while and I have missed it! Sorry I am so late getting around! Thanks for sharing. Vickie #62

ReplyDeleteI've been known to wait a month to make the final glue down lol. great looking page and embellishments you have going there ).. Happy (belated) WOYWW! #5
ReplyDeleteIf this is a mess, I think I need to work like you. It looks pretty interesting to me. Flowers always take some time. Love that yours will match your LO perfectly. Keep smiling and creating.
